Simulating Snowflake Fractals in TouchDesigner

This tutorial is going to teach you how to simulate snowflake fractals in TouchDesigner using only TOPs, so beginner friendly! It's pretty much a port of Entagma's tutorial in Houdini based on Clifford A. Reiter's paper, definitely recommend checking them out! We will be going through the logic behind snowflake growth first and then walk through the process in TouchDesigner step by step including the fundamental Convolve TOP.
